Mrs. Johns is a PHS graduate. She attended Volunteer State Community College and Lipscomb University. She holds an A.S in Science and a B.S in professional studies. Mrs. Johns enjoys gardening with her family, watching her favorite tv shows, and going to the beach.
Mrs. Kennedy began her teaching career in 1998 and began school counseling in 2007. She came to Portland High School in the fall of 2012. She is am married with two adult children. Mrs. Kennedy love to travel, cook, read, and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Mccoy is a PHS graduate. She attended Volunteer State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University to complete her B.S. in Psychology. She attended Capella University to earn her M.S. in School Counseling. Mrs. McCoy enjoys reading, watching movies, running, and spending time with her golden retriever, Fancy and her family.
Mrs. Miller is a graduate of Portland High School. She attended Volunteer State Community College and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She holds an A.S. in Psychology, a B.S. in Human Ecology, a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling, and an endorsement in PreK-12 School Counseling. Mrs. Miller began her career as a Clinical Coordinator for the Wilson County Youth Ranch in early 2002 and moved to Centerstone as a School-Based Therapist in late 2002. After 5 years with Centerstone, Mrs. Miller transitioned to School Counseling with Sumner County Schools. She has enjoyed many years at both the elementary and high school levels. Most of her free time is spent with her husband and 2 children, Isaac and Libby. She loves to cook and travel.
